Problem Note 59537: Creating a new work group base_risk_env fails and returns "'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable or..."
On a Windows x64 machine, attempts to create the base_risk_env for a new work group in SAS® Model Implementation Platform fail, and an error such as the following occurs:
C:\ProgramFiles\SASHome\SASFoundation\9.4\modimpsvr\ucmacros\rskrpt_set_defaults.sas 8 file(s) copied. 'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. "Done, please check output above for errors and set appropriate ownership\permissions on \"XYZ\" directory"
The problem occurs when the directory path for SASHome includes a space, which the script misinterprets. As a result, the correct path cannot be found and the creation attempt fails with a message similar to the following:
C:\Program Files
\SASHome
Workaround
Modify the script and put quotation marks around %SASHOME_SASFOUNDATION_DIR%\SAS. Here is an example:
( echo libname mimp_sas "%BU_DIR_FULL_PATH%\..\commonData\input\mimp_sas"; echo libname mimp_env "%BU_DIR_FULL_PATH%\input\mimp_env"; echo %%inc "%SASHOME_SASFOUNDATION_MIP_DIR%\rskmimpl_base_env.sas"; ) > "%BU_DIR_FULL_PATH%\workgroup_init.tmp.sas" "%SASHOME_SASFOUNDATION_DIR%\sas" -sysin "%BU_DIR_FULL_PATH%\workgroup_init.tmp.sas"
After making this modification, you should be able to create a new work group and have the base_risk_env created in the mimp_env folder.
